The list of some of the equipment:
Built 427ci with all fresh internals (454ci Block 361959 Casting Number)
M20 Muncie 4-Speed Manual Transmission (February 1969 Dated)Hurst ShifterNew 12 Bolt Rear End Brand New Steering Wheel Bucket Seats w/ Headrests Dual 4" DynaFlow ExhaustPower SteeringPower Disc Brakes (Front)Autosound Upgraded Sound System w/ BlutoothRally Wheels Wrapped in new BFG Tires The exterior on the car is beautifully redone and is finished in Dark Gray Metallic which was a factory color for 1969. Paint was just completed in a high dollar base coat/clear coat process. All stainless and trim was removed and polished before re-install. The chrome bumpers are in good original condition, and all other emblems and door handles are new high quality re-pops. The body is arrow straight and all bodylines are correct and fitment is nice. To complete the exterior look a steel cowl hood was installed and front and rear Z-28 style spoilers were installed. The undercarriage is as nice as the top. The underside is very clean and the frame and chassis is all original, with no visible pan replacement or patch panels. The body was taken off and put on a rotisserie during the restoration, as the whole bottom of the chassis is painted gray to match the top, and the front subframe was all nicely painted black. Everything under the car has been gone through from front to back.
The interior just completed a nearly $6000 restoration. Everything is brand new high quality workmanship. The white vinyl with houndstooth inserts really set this car off. New carpet, all new door panels, new headliner, restored dash and gauges, and a nice stereo system to finish it off. All passenger seats have original GM seatbelts, but the driver does not. The trunk is also beautifully upholstered with custom side panels built, everything wrapped in black carpet, and a nice custom trunk mat laid in to finish the look.
Mechanically, this little Camaro runs great. The 427ci Big Block V8
is a very fast motor and this Camaro FLYS! The 427ci motor in this car was accomplished by taking a 454ci block and de-stroking, it which results in higher revs but slight loss of torque. This was done at time of rebuild by using a 396ci crank when building the motor around that. The client who owns this had a shop in Montana check this when the clutch was being done and they confirmed the end of the crank was identified as a 396 crank. The engine compartment is well optioned and detailed and make this car a joy to drive. Billet pullys and fan and chrome accessories dress up the big motor which is topped with Edelbrock Intake and Carb to help this motor breath in fuel and blow out fire! The motor is a built non-numbers 454ci block mated to a non-numbers 1969 dated M20 Muncie 4-speed. Everything in the power train was freshly rebuilt and has been gone through. From fresh motor, to rebuilt trans, to new drive shaft, to brand new 12 Bolt rear end. This car drives straight and true and is extremely tight in the suspension since every bit of the suspension has been gone through with new rubber and hardware. The front disk brakes have all fresh parts, all brake lines look newly installed as well as nice clean stainless steel fuel lines. This car needs nothing and is ready to
cruise on a sunny day or hot summer night.
All in all, this is one very clean and well-done '69
Camaro. Take a look at the price range many of these are selling mid 40-50K range. This is everything that those cars are without the huge price tag. This car is a great example of a solid, well-preserved car which has been meticulously restored and can be enjoyed for years to come. Camaros are one of the most coveted and widely collected vehicles on the market today, and with this car you can't go wrong.
