1993 Cadillac Allante Convertible, 4.6L Northstar V8, 9900 Miles, LAST ALLANTE!

Very special, this Cadillac Allante Convertible was the last car built for the public in late 1993, with the final Allante, which was a twin to this car, being still in the private collection of GM. With 9,987 original miles, this car has always been in private collections and stored inside. Finished in red with beige leather interior, it features the Northstar V8 engine which was the only year for the preferred power plant.

GM called the assembly line for the Allante the AIRBRIDGE because of the way these cars traveled by 747 Cargo plane between Detroit and Italy. It is said that GM lost over $5,000 per Allante sold after the final accounting was done for the multiyear project. The bodies of these cars were designed and built by the world renowned Italian design firm Pininfarina, who are also the designers behind some of Ferrari's greatest models. The body on the car is in awesome condition and was well maintained. The paint on the car is in great shape and looks as good as the day in rolled of the lot. The wheels are all in like new shape with no peeling or damage. The tires are in very good condition and are new with less than 500 miles. The convertible top is like new and seals up very well. Overall the exterior appearance of this car is a 10 out of 10.

The interior is in great shape all around. The leather seats are all in very good condition with no tears or rips and no wear to the driver seat which shows the quality of leather used in this car and illustrates the low miles. The dash and door panels are also in like new condition. The carpets are all very nice and have been professionally cleaned. The floor mats are in good shape for their age. All dials and controls function as they should. The sound system is also very nice with the Premium sound and both the CD and Cassette player work great. Overall the interior appearance of the car is a 10 out of 10.

Mechanically, this Allante runs GREAT! The car starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. It drives as good now as the day it rolled of the lot. The eight cylinder engine is quick and responsive, all while being very fuel efficient. The climate control system works correct and blows both Ice Cold as well as nice and toasty Warm. The car just received a oil change and a once over by a 25yr Cadillac dealer tech and was given the green light. Car is tight and right with no leaks to speak of.

The car also comes with every correct piece of literature you would want out of a museum grade vehicle. All original books, service reminders, dealer brochures, and a very thick 1993 Allante Factory Service Manual. All very cool. Even includes a display board for shows or display!
