1965 Mustang coupe that was born on January 26th, 1965 at the San Jose, CA plant and was delivered and sold in Los Angeles, CA (DSO 71). The car has remained a life-long California car and has had only one family of owners! This car is also exceedingly rare in that it is a 20cci Straight 6 car with WORKING Ice Cold Factory Installed Air!

   The body on this little beauty is a solid and beautiful and reflects its' life long stay in the sunny and dry state of California. There is no evidence of any panel repairs or replacements and no attempt to cover anything up and no evidence of any accident history.  The underside is original and untouched so what you see is what you've got!  The door, hood and rear deck gaps are straight and even and factory original. 
It is absolutely 100% as rock solid and rust free as you would expect a California car to be!  It is finished in its'
original color of Wimbledon White and looks very nice!  The finish is a driver quality paint job which was redone around 2005.  The chrome and trim is exceptionally sharp with only minor pitting and virtually no dings or dents.  The original glass is all in great condition as well as all original rubber moldings.
   The interior is very sharp and is almost all original and the blue crinkle vinyl is in very nice shape. The originality of this interior is the key factor in documenting this Mustangs mileage as original. The door panels, carpet, dash, seats and headliner are in good shape as well as the arm rests are damage free. The dash gauges are clean and bright as well as the rest of the dash trim. The only redone part of this interior is the drivers seat which had a few seam rips so i had it redone.
   Mechanically, this little Mustang is in great shape and it runs and drives like a top!  It is apparent that it has never been used and abused or molested in any way and was always well maintained! The engine runs strong and smooth and the transmission shifts as it should. The motor compartment is clean a correct and in show quality condition. The car is super tight and leak free.
    All in all, this is one very rare little Mustang and has great prominence and history. These early cars truly are the best Mustangs, and this example is a super clean, low mileage car...how can you go wrong?
